Who we are
At Kimberlysklazet, we believe that creativity, confidence, and community are stitched together—one project at a time. Founded by Lisa Brown, a U.S. Army Retired Veteran, educator, and fashion designer, Kimberlysklazet is more than just a sewing studio—it’s a creative haven where makers of all skill levels can learn, grow, and express themselves through the art of sewing.
For Lisa, sewing has always been more than a craft—it’s been a source of peace, strength, and healing. Toward the end of her military career, she kept a sewing machine in her office and would sew during lunch breaks as a way to manage stress and cope with PTSD. What began as a personal outlet soon became a powerful reminder that creativity can heal, connect, and restore.
Because of that journey, Kimberlysklazet holds a special place for veterans and anyone navigating life’s challenges. We strive to go above and beyond to help ease some of the stressors in their lives through the therapeutic art of sewing—offering a safe, supportive space where creativity becomes a form of self-care.
Located in Longwood, Florida, Kimberlysklazet is a place where friendships are formed, stories are shared, and confidence is built—one stitch at a time. Our motto, “Come sew with me,” reflects our passion for creating a welcoming space where everyone feels empowered to make something beautiful.
